      <image:title>Nancy's Services - Nancy’s Clinical Approach:</image:title>
<image:caption>My general approach in working with clients is highly individualized, relational and strength-based. I believe most clients simply need an environment to communicate, process feelings and gain insight in order to create a more fulfilling and meaningful life. By utilizing the insights gained in therapy, we can develop an action plan to move toward transformation and healing. I offer individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults. I provide individualized care which begins with understanding your goals for the therapy process and then together determining the best therapeutic framework and plan for your therapy process. I believe my process to be compassionate, respectful and goal directed, resulting in client empowerment. I work with clients and families struggling with a variety of issues and those seeking a process of self-discovery and personal growth. My goal is to provide therapy leading to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.</image:caption>

<image:title>Meet Nancy - Nancy Albus, NCC, CEDS, LPC</image:title>
<image:caption>My career path into behavioral health was about my own self-discovery. I went back to school to get my master’s degree in my thirties to explore career options. I found myself looking for something that would provide a greater sense of purpose and meaning than what I found myself doing. I was also seeking to fill a future gap in my own sense of purpose when my children left home and my role as a mother changed. Lastly, I was drawn to understand more about eating disorders as a mother raising two daughters. What I discovered was a passion for a career that allowed personal transformations and healing to occur. A process that allowed the communication of feelings and thoughts without judgment to create healing and change. I have now spent over 18 years working with eating disorders, anxiety, depression and the everyday life challenges that can negatively impact happiness and quality of life. I feel fortunate to have the chance to work with people seeking growth and personal development even though at times the process is extremely difficult. I have spent most of my life in St. Louis and I raised my girls in the area. I understand firsthand the uniqueness and often the pressure of raising children, balancing work and motherhood and coping with aging parents and my own aging process. I hope to bring a compassionate process of healing to you.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Meet Chelsea - Chelsea Rice, LCSW</image:title>
<image:caption>I am from St. Louis originally and my experience of growing up in the area gives me valuable insights into the educational and social climate of the local community. I attended Rossman Elementary School and John Burroughs. My educational and professional experiences led me to exciting life stages in North Carolina and Massachusetts. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication at Wake Forest University and I received my master’s degree in clinical social work from Boston College. In 2015 after spending three years in Boston, I decided to return to my roots in St. Louis to be closer to family. I currently practice therapy part-time which allows me to spend invaluable time with my two young daughters. My husband and I adore our sweet girls and our two dogs, Stella and Cosmo.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Chelsea's Services - Chelsea’s Clinical Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>My approach to therapy is rooted in attachment theory which emphasizes the importance of developing secure, safe attachments with others. I strive to create a warm, inviting and non-judgmental environment in therapy. I understand that building trust and gaining comfort with vulnerability takes time. The experience of gradually sharing your deepest thoughts and feelings with another person and receiving a consistent, emotionally attuned and caring response can in and of itself be healing. I utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities depending on the individual needs and interests of each client. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I draw upon CBT and DBT to assist clients in developing adaptive coping strategies in order to promote anxiety management and emotion regulation. Most importantly, identifying the direction of therapy will be a collaborative process to ensure each client feels personally invested in their quest for self-discovery. I work with individuals suffering from grief and loss, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, infertility, life transitions, confidence issues and male identity development. I also welcome clients who are hoping to learn more about themselves through the process of therapy or simply need a source of support. In therapy, I strive to balance addressing symptoms and looking beyond the surface to help clients develop a compassionate understanding of how their past informs the present. By learning new adaptive coping strategies and gaining insight into the early development of current emotional wounds or maladaptive patterns, clients can feel empowered to create positive change.</image:caption>
